Garth Walker

Had a inspirational talk on typography today by Garth Walker himself.  Absolutely loved the essence of his typeface project for the constitutional court! He used the elements around the constitutional court to create a typeface.  The key to design something brillant is to THINK BEFORE YOU DESIGN!!

Jelly Blocks

Made in collaboration with Mr. Oso®, this still life is made by real type in jelly blocks, just the opposite of how hard could be making a still life with soft materials. Special guest designer: Kristian Touborg. Photography: Paloma Rincón.

Fondme logo

For this project, I have decided to explore handmade typography by creating a handmade logo for Fondme.  I will be blogging about every letter, for every letter is made out of a different material.  You can also follow me on twitter and join my page on facebook.

Welcome

Hallo typography lovers! This is a blog all about handmade/tactile typography.  With technology taking over our planet, we have lost the essence of thinking before we design.  Making type with found objects forces you to go back to the basics and to think before you design.  Enjoy reading my blog and feel free to share and comment as you wish.
