Balderdash

Check out this great 4th year project done by Janine van der Bank.

This is some of my process work of my 4th year project (whole year project). My concept is based on the game of Balderdash. I am aiming to bring forgotten/unknown words to life by building them 3 dimentionally. I am aiming to produce between 12 & 16 'forgotten/strange/balderdash words', together with each words' new definition, published in as what I like to call a DESIGNERS' FICTIONARY . The first two words were basically experiments, but these two words are the first of the bunch. The words are fur fur and goofah.

Font Face

Font Face is a project by Spanish design studio Atipo which pays tribute to 4 typographic legends and their creators. Represented in bold black and white makeup are: Carousel Medium, Clarendon Bold, Caslon Italic and of course Helvetica Bold. Produced from the project are four large posters perfect for putting a smile on the face of any font fan + makeup fanatic.

Viktor & Rolf

These items by Viktor & Rolf caught my eye with their obvious typographic element. Reminds me of something out of a comic strip, but with the speech merged in to the characters.
